Bloodhound Engineering Event

A group of 18 keen scientists from Year 5 have spent the day at Noadswood with the Bloodhound Education team. I was able to pop along for a while and see what our pupils were getting up to. They have been learning about the Bloodhound car and how it is going to attempt to break the land-speed record in South Africa. The current record is 763mph and they are trying to travel at 800mph! If they manage this, they are going to try to travel at 1000mph in 2016!
